The short version

QuietTap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, and no tracking of any kind.

What we store locally

QuietTap saves your session preferences (BPM, duration, haptic style) and a count of completed sessions to your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device.

Apple Health

If you enable “Save to Apple Health”, QuietTap writes completed sessions as Mindful Minutes to the Health app on your device. QuietTap also reads heart rate data from HealthKit after a session, solely to display it to you. This data is governed entirely by Apple’s HealthKit privacy framework and remains on your device at all times.

No analytics or tracking

QuietTap contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, and no third-party code of any kind. We do not know how you use the app.

No account required

QuietTap requires no account and collects no personal information such as your name, email address, or location.
